The Double Take Podcast is the movie discussion show on Middlesbrough’s Community Voice FM, with Mark Harrison and Rob Simpson. On it we discuss the local box office top 5, the latest movie news, the latest releases and other movies from the vast and illustrious history of cinema, be it B-Movie or Classic. We also welcome listener feedback, whether it is a comment from a film you have seen recently or a challenge for a film we should look at in the take two (cinema history recent and historical). If you want to get in touch, email us at doubletakefm@gmail.com, follow us on twitter @doubletakefm or like us on Facebook by searching for double take and clicking on this fancy image.
Double take is celebrating a year on the air in this weeks episode. What better way to celebrate this landmark than by having Mark breathlessly discuss the latest in the Twilight Saga, breaking dawn, as well as generous background to the series. I say discussion, its more of a dissertation thanks to Rob’s total aversion to the successful franchise. Elsewhere, for those with more mature tastes in movies we review the bleak double bill of Australian Serial Killer thriller and staggering directorial début, Snowtown. As well as the long anticipated return to the directors chair in Lynne Ramsay’s We Need to Talk about Kevin.
